Celebrities dust off their clubs for Lusso Homes charity golf day
Chertsey based Lusso Homes is pleased to announce over £18,000 has been raised at its celebrity golf day, on behalf of the Rainbow Trust children’s charity. An impressive 118 golfers took part made up of businesses in Surrey and a host of celebrities including rugby stars Danny Care, Nick Evans and Nick Easter.
Singer and songwriter Kenny Lynch, former England cricketer Pat Pocock, actor and singer Jess Conrad, TV presenter Matt Lorenzo, The Sun’s Kelvin Mackenzie and Ex British Lion Martin Corry were among many celebrities who joined in the competition, held at Foxhills Golf Club & Spa in Surrey.
A total of 29 teams entered the competition with the winning team of DeMountfort Homes and Matt Lorenzo proving difficult to beat. Various mini competitions took place throughout the day to raise money for the Rainbow Trust, including ‘Beat The Bungle’ where golfers had to compete with Bungle from Rainbow on a par three. This competition alone raised £940!
After an eventful day on the golf course, there was more money still to be raised with Bobby Davro providing the entertainment for the evening and auctioning various items which had been donated by Lusso Homes.
