More than a thousand images have already been uploaded to a unique online archive launched by Alfa Romeo to help celebrate its 100th anniversary.

Photos submitted to alfacentenary.co.uk will be used to create a mosaic of the Italian sporting car manufacturer's latest Giulietta model later in the summer.

Owners and fans - affectionately known as Alfisti - are being asked to upload unique and personal shots of their Alfa Romeo cars, both old and new, to tell the real story of one of the most iconic brands in motoring.

"Many of the images capture those special memories or magical moments which bring all Alfa owners together; from the special birthday cake to the son helping to clean his dads car for the first time," says Damien Dally UK Brand Communications Manager for Alfa Romeo.

Images can be loaded onto Alfacentenary.co.uk until Sunday July 5th, but additions before June 18 will also be included in a prize draw to win an exclusive Alfa Romeo goodie bag and a pair of VIP tickets to the Goodwood Festival of Speed (2 - 4 July).
