Renault Grand Scenic to turn rivals green with envy

Organised by the Department for Transport as part of the UK’s Presidency of the G8 this year, the two-day event will feature a high-profile audience of delegates from home and abroad, debating a range of topics including, measures to develop the environmentally friendly vehicles of the future, plus science and technological developments.
There will also be an exhibition, organised by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders next to the symposium. In it, the fuel-friendly Grand Scénic dCi 106 Euro IV, which emits 144 CO2 g/km and returns an impressive 52.3 miles per gallon on a combined cycle, will feature on the Renault stand to show how fuel-efficient the company’s modern diesel common-rail injection (dCi) engines have become, as well as providing an interesting contrast to the other alternatively-powered vehicles on show.
