England takes on the rest of the world as eight smart cars entertain the crowds at Mercedes-Benz World during the World Cup.

The incredible matches will feature two five minute halves and a penalty shoot out as four smart cars in their England strip take on smarts from around the world.  The resident referee is equipped with giant red and yellow cards and is not afraid to use them as the cars and their drivers take their position on the Mercedes-Benz World pitch in the ultimate game of world class automotive soccer.

Andrew Mallery, Commercial Operations Director, Mercedes-Benz Cars, comments; “As the World Cup kicks off, we want to show our support for England and do something extra special for our visitors.  Live commentary will keep supporters on top of all the action as the two teams of smart cars dribble and shoot a giant sized football into the goal.”

The smart football will take place at 12:30 on the Saturday 19th June, Sunday 20th June, Saturday 26th June, Sunday 27th June and Saturday 10th July.

Following the smart football, visitors will be in awe of the Silver Arrows Display Team and the synchronised driving skill from four Mercedes-Benz World drivers in the latest Mercedes AMGcars.  Taking place every weekend, four lucky winners of the daily competition open to visitors will experience the roar of the display from the passenger seat.
