Physiotherapist Charlotte Ashby is enjoying her new-found independence after snapping up a stunning new townhouse at Redrow’s Sutton Woods development in Maidstone, Kent.

The 26-year-old moved into her three-bedroom, three-storey property just four weeks ago after moving from her parents’ home in Bearsted.

Her parents and their friends are now regular visitors to Charlotte’s new home and are very impressed.

“My parents’ friends absolutely love my new home and several have been inspired to buy a brand new home too,” said Charlotte, who chose her property due to the amount of space and well-planned layout of her home.

“I had looked at lots of other developments but the properties were all too small,” she said. “When I saw this design at Sutton Woods I was really impressed by the size of the rooms, particularly the bedrooms – I have three doubles.

“I was also really taken with the size of the garden, which you don’t often get in new properties.”

Charlotte, who shares the property with a friend, also likes having her lounge situated upstairs, which she feels is more private. “I work long hours and it is great to come back to such a lovely home at the end of the day,” she said.

Built on the site of the former Senacre College, off Sutton Road, Sutton Woods is a stylish venture of two, three and four-bedroom homes, incorporating some stunning mature trees and areas of open space, while being just a short walk from the picturesque Mote Park. It is also conveniently close to Maidstone town centre.

As Kent’s county town, Maidstone has a wide variety of shops, schools, sports and leisure centres, bars and restaurants, whilst Maidstone East station offers journey times to London Victoria or Charing Cross of around an hour. The area is within easy reach of the south east coast and is close to the M20 and M25 motorways.

Show homes are now open at Sutton Woods and current prices range from £172,950 for a two-bedroom home to £319,950 for a three-storey, four-bedroom home with en-suite to master bedroom. There are great deals available including part-exchange.

To find out more about the homes available and help on offer, visit Sutton Woods, where the show home is open daily 10am to 5.30pm.
