Two’s company at Radcliffe development

A whole community of friends and family is building up at Taylor Wimpey Manchester’s Chapelfield Park on Stand Lane in Radcliffe.
Among the latest batch of new homeowners are twin sisters, who have each chosen an apartment at the development as their first new home.
Gemma Herz, a 25-year-old sales executive, was so impressed with the development that she purchased a beautiful two bedroom Verona apartment.
Gemma then introduced her twin sister Natalie to the development. After seeing the stylish show apartment and the service provided to her sister Gemma, Natalie also purchased a super 2 bedroom Geneva apartment at the development.
“I already knew a few people who had moved in at Chapelfield Park so I was aware that it is a great location and when I saw the apartments themselves I thought they were fab,” said Gemma.
The Geneva also comes complete with an ample sized lounge, a stylish kitchen, separate family bathroom and an allocated parking space.
Additional features in a Verona apartment include combined living and dining areas, a large bay window and an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom.
The final phase of new homes is now available at Chapelfield Park. There are only three apartments remaining at the development on Stand Lane, prices start from just £66,495 with the HomeBuy Direct scheme, making the monthly mortgage payment from as little as £302 per month.
Easystart, HomeBuy Direct and Depositmatch are three schemes available at Chapelfield Park.
Under the Easystart scheme, first time buyers can own 100 per cent of a new home from day one but pay just 85 per cent of the price now. The other 15 per cent is offered by the housebuilder as an interest free loan to be repaid within 10 years. A deposit of just 5 per cent is required and the scheme is restricted to first time buyers. Purchasers must consult one of Taylor Wimpey’s registered financial advisers if they want to use the scheme.
With HomeBuy Direct, buyers are provided with an interest free equity loan for up to 30 per cent of the value of the property for the first five years, co-funded by the Homes and Communities Agency and Taylor Wimpey, helping first time buyers overcome the hurdles of high mortgage costs and larger deposits.
And with Depositmatch, Taylor Wimpey will match the buyer’s deposit up to 10% of the property’s value in the form of an interest free loan, potentially giving access to better interest rates and lower monthly mortgage payments. The buyer owns 100% of the property and there is no rent or interest to pay during the loan period. They can repay the loan when they sell or have the option to make up to three smaller one-off payments*.
Chapelfield Park is ideally situated just outside the main shopping centre of Radcliffe and a short drive from the local town centres of Whitefield and Bury. The development is in a pleasant residential location with a range of local amenities.
Conveniently placed between two major motorways in the North West, the M60 and M66, Chapelfield Park also offers commuters easy access to the national motorway network.
For more information on any of the schemes at Chapelfield Park or about the development itself, visit the sales information centre, which is open from Thursday to Monday between 11am and 5pm.
*Under Depositmatch if the loan is not repaid within the ten year period, then interest is charged at 2% above the Bank of England rate.
