Moving house can be a costly business. But Taylor Wimpey North East is easing the financial pain for first time buyers interested in its Fairfield Park development in Murton by taking care of all bills for the first year.

Purchasers of homes at the development – within easy walking distance of Murton – will live “bill free” for the first year. Taylor Wimpey will cover the cost of all gas, electricity, water and council tax for the first twelve months, up to a generous total of £5000.

Joan Peart, Taylor Wimpey regional sales and marketing director, said: “this is a fantastic opportunity for first time buyers and we’re hoping it will make their move onto the property ladder much easier and cheaper.”

Currently available at Fairfield Park are the spacious Arlington and Brentwood three storey townhouses, both of which benefit from four bedrooms, two bathrooms, landscaped gardens to the front and a single garage. Prices start at just £159,950 and, of course, there are no utility bills for a year!

The ground floor of the Arlington features a large fitted kitchen and dining area with French doors opening on to the rear garden. The first floor has a family bathroom, a bedroom and an impressive living room with double doors leading to a pretty Juliet balcony. The second floor has three bedrooms, plus a luxury en-suite to the master bedroom.

With a slightly different layout, the ground floor of the Brentwood includes a spacious lounge with French doors leading to the rear garden, together with a kitchen and breakfast area. Between them, the two upper floors feature four bedrooms and a contemporary family bathroom.

Situated close to the coast and Seaham Harbour, Fairfield Park is surrounded by beautiful countryside. Nearby there are extensive shopping and leisure facilities, including Dalton Park shopping mall, while Murton itself is home to a range of amenities including dentist and doctors’ surgeries, banks, shops and schools.
