TV's Derek Taylor to open new show homes in Newport
Star of ITV’s 60 Minute Makeover and professional designer, Derek Taylor, is to officially open the showhomes at Taylor Wimpey’s Lysaght Village development in Newport this weekend.
Derek Taylor, who has professionally decorated and styled the three showhomes at Lysaght Village, will be on hand to cut the ribbon to open the showhomes at 12 noon on Saturday 17th July.
In addition to being able to view the three stylish showhomes, visitors will have an opportunity to meet Derek while enjoying a glass of bubbly. And, anyone who reserves a property at Lysaght Village on Saturday 17th or Sunday 18th July will receive an interior design package worth £5000, which will be organised by Derek and his design company ISHOKA.

The new showhomes at Lysaght Village include the three bedroom Wessex style home and the three bedroom, three storey Gosforth and Harvington style townhouses.
The development is situated on Corporation Road and will feature a wide range of one, two, three and four bedroom homes.
Named after the city’s steel mill owners, the Lysaght family, the site will, upon completion, be a modern, purpose built, new village of 549 new homes. Construction of the new village is taking place over the next ten years.
