Grass is greener for first time buyers in Bristol
First time buyers looking for a new home can get a helping hand on to the property ladder next month – by visiting Barratt’s Fieldways development in Bristol.
The developer is organising a special BBQ event on Saturday 24 July – designed to give potential buyers all the information and advice they need to make that first leap in to the housing market.
Those seeking new homes but feel unable to buy because of financial constraints may find the door is wide open at Fieldways – with a number of stunning properties still available at the development.
“Owning your own home is something many people aspire to – but it is tricky for some to finance that first step,” said sales director, Andrea Pilgrim. “We are delighted to be able to help with a number of schemes – including HomeBuy Direct. And the special event in July will outline the options available to potential buyers.”
Buyers will need to be quick if they want to take advantage of HomeBuy Direct. The scheme gives buyers the opportunity to move in for just 70 per cent of the price – with the remaining 30 per cent covered by a loan from Barratt and the Government’s Homes and Communities Agency together with the buyer’s deposit. This means a smaller mortgage – making the monthly repayments much more affordable.
“This scheme is still available at Fieldways but this is really the last chance for buyers – with the government-backed scheme ending shortly,” said Andrea Pilgrim.
Currently availability at Fieldways includes two bedroom apartments – Norton Milton from £125,995 to £131,995.
Fieldways is located in Paulton, North Somerset. It is well served by well known supermarkets and other local amenities – including schools, churches, pubs and restaurants.
For details of current availability visit the sales office at Church Street, Paulton, open from 11am to 6pm Thursday to Monday.
