Housebuilder Cadeby Homes has announced that work has commenced at its luxury Forest Edge development in the sought after Leicestershire village of Quorn.

Situated off Woodhouse Road, this unique development of 12 individually crafted, one, two, three and four bedroomed homes represents the first time that Cadeby Homes has built in Quorn. In keeping with the historic village, the development will possess a unique architectural styling, which is the result of a collaboration between Cadeby Homes’ directors and heritage focussed architects and planners.

Every single house on the development will be individual, with exteriors finished with flush and struck pointing to the brickwork, some coloured rendering and slate and clay rosemary tile roofs, through to solid oak front doors and thermally efficient timber windows. Inside the homes will boast luxury bathrooms and bespoke kitchens fitted by local craftsmen with such features as silestone worktops. There will also be fine detailed architraving and door handles, and large skirting boards - all of which exceeding the attention to detail and quality normally associated with new homes.

Enveloped with mature trees, the development has been designed with professional couples, and young families in mind and also existing homeowners wishing to stay in the area, but perhaps in a more moderately sized property. In short, those who wish to own spacious yet easy to maintain homes in an environment with landscaped gardens and lavish attention to detail. One such detail will be a central working clock tower architectural feature, which is Cadeby Homes’ contribution to architecture within Quorn.

Cadeby Homes director, Louis Massarella, says of his company’s new Quorn development:

“New developments are rare in this beautiful village and so early levels of interest have been very high. As Forest Edge is at such an early stage of construction, those buyers reserving off-plan will have the opportunity to self-style certain aspects of their new home interior.

“As with all Cadeby Homes developments, we are committed to building new homes that do not just fit in with their surroundings, but compliment them.”

Properties available to buy at Cadeby Homes’ Forest Edge development range from the one bedroomed coach house at £169,950, to a range of three and four bedroomed properties available from £239,950.
