A curious collection of hairy – and just a little scary – creatures will be getting up close to house-hunters at two developments of new homes in Costessey, Norwich.

Leading housebuilders Taylor Wimpey and Laing Homes are inviting daring kids and their plucky parents to see – and handle – the slithery snakes, a hissing cockroach, big hairy spiders, a giant millipede, a striped skunk, prickly pygmy hedgehog, scary scorpion, bearded dragon, plus some cute owls and friendly tortoise.

The weird and wonderful creatures will be at Taylor Wimpey’s Hunters Park development in Costessey and at Laing@Queen’s Hills on Saturday 21st August.

Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, Stacy Dornan, says: “Love them or loathe them, creepy crawlies have a huge fascination for us humans, and so bringing so rare examples to the site of our new homes in Norwich is a real treat.

“Although some of them aren’t the sweetest-looking creatures, they are all very tame and offer a rare chance for children to discover weird and wonderful creatures.”

While youngsters are amused and amazed by the array of animals, adults coming along to Costessey are invited to take a look at the fantastic collection of stylish new Norwich homes for sale at both developments.

Two, three and four-bedroom houses for sale at Taylor Wimpey’s Hunters Park, range from only £129,995 for a two-bedroom terraced home to just £209,995 for a detached four-bedroom design.

At Laing’s Queen’s Hills there’s a selection of three-bedroom houses for sale, priced from as little as £130,045*, and four-bedroom properties from only £199,995.

The creepy crawlies will be in attendance between 10am and 5pm on Saturday 21st August at both Laing@Queen’s Hills, located off Alex Moorhouse Way, Costessey, and Taylor Wimpey’s Hunters Park, off Poethlyn Drive, Costessey.
