SEAT is ensuring new car buyers searching for the best deal this September need look no further than the Spanish marque’s showrooms as it unveils an array of tempting deals, including great offers on its special edition Ibiza Good Stuff model.

Celebrating SEAT’s partnership with Columbian pop sensation Shakira the special edition Ibiza Good Stuff debuted earlier this year.  Based on the popular Ibiza 1.4 SE, the car’s available in either practical 5dr or sporty SC bodystyles, and whichever one is chosen buyers will enjoy a sparkling array of neat extras as standard.

Originally priced at a very competitive £12,300 RRP (£12,710 RRP for the 5dr) these extra-special Ibizas are now being made available with both significant discounts and enticing finance deals.

SEAT’s push for September savings means all Ibiza Good Stuff 1.4 SC models bought and registered before 30 September are being offered at £10,495 – a saving of £1,805 off the RRP – while Good Stuff 1.4 5dr models are available at £10,995, saving £1,715 off the previous RRP.

What’s more, the cars are being made available with eye-catching low deposit and low payment plans courtesy of SEAT Solutions.  Both versions are offered with a low deposit – just £199 in the case of the SC – followed by 41 monthly payments of £199 on the Solutions Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) plan, at an APR of just 8.5%.

Predictably, perhaps, the Ibiza Good Stuff adds a great selection of state-of-the-art extras to its already generous roster of standard-fit kit including a TomTom satnav system and unique SEAT dashboard dock and cradle.  Other goodies exclusive to the Good Stuff include a black iPod Nano 8GB complete with etched SEAT logo and SEAT branded content, iPod docking station, and Bluetooth hands-free phone system.

On top of this, the Good Stuff keeps its occupants as cool as they look thanks to the special edition’s climate control system.

Of course there’s much more to the car as the extras add to the Ibiza’s already generous SE spec which includes, as standard, electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors, front fog lights with cornering function, one-touch electric windows, height and reach adjustable steering wheel, six-speaker MP3 compatible AM/FM radio/CD player with combined USB and AUX-in port, trip computer and speed-sensitive electro-mechanical power steering.

Smart 16” ‘Sonda’ alloy wheels, dark tinted rear windows and bespoke boot badging complete the Good Stuff goodies.

Beneath the bonnet lies a newly EU V-compliant 1.4-litre 16V petrol engine driving the front wheels through a crisp five-speed manual gearbox.  Offering 85 PS at 5,000 rpm, the engine carries the SEAT from rest to 62 mph in a sprightly 11.8 seconds (12.2 seconds 5dr) and offers a top speed, where legal, of 110 mph (109 mph 5dr).  CO2 emissions stand at 142 g/km and, on the combined cycle, the Ibiza Good Stuff’s official consumption is put at a frugal 47.1 mpg.

The car’s name is taken from one of the tracks on Shakira’s latest album, She Wolf, and reflects SEAT’s ongoing association with the Colombian singer.  It has been named in recognition of SEAT’s sponsorship of Shakira’s forthcoming Good Stuff European tour and is available in a selection of smart paint shades including Candy White and Speed Blue.

Elsewhere in its line-up, SEAT is also making new versions of its popular Leon family hatch available with significant savings.

Leonmodels boasting two of the latest engines to join the range – the 1.2 TSI and new generation 1.6 TDI CR Ecomotive – are being offered with at least £2,000 off the RRP.

These great ‘60’ reg deals are available to retail customers only, and are offered via participating SEAT retailers nationwide.  The finance deals are offered subject to status – terms and conditions apply.

Welcoming SEAT’s latest suite of offers the Spanish brand’s Head of Marketing in the UK, Steve Robertson, said: ‘September remains a key month for car sales in this country, and helped by great offers like this I’m sure our dealers are going to be busier than ever.’
