BritainsFinest.co.uk, the online guide to all that’s lovely in the UK, reports a surge in demand for spas, with 22 per cent of all searches being for hotels with this facility.

“Whether users are looking for a country house hotel or city break, the most searched-for facility is a spa,” says editor Will Blackwell. “And another 13 per cent of searches are for properties with a hot tub or Jacuzzi, suggesting that we’re all after a bit of pampering.”

The online guide features 275 spas, both those set within luxury hotels such as Holbeck Ghyll in the Lake District and Day Spas such as The Chapel Spa in Cheltenham.  Users can search for their nearest spa by Region, County or with the Map facility.

Every spa recommended by the BritainsFinest.co.uk team of experts is described in 150 words with at least three pictures and individual phone numbers, email and website addresses, so users can contact the Spa direct with any questions and to make a booking.
