Showhomes unveiled at Teal Park Farm, Washington

Barratt North East has taken the wraps off two superb showhomes at its new Teal Park Farm development in Washington.
They are two of the housebuilder’s best-selling townhouses – the 3-bedroom ‘Norbury’ and the 4-bedroom ‘Woodcote’ – and blend contemporary exteriors with up-to-the-minute colours and the latest furnishings.
The showhomes have been furnished by Anne Raine Interiors and feature contrasting themes.
The Norbury has a distinct Oriental influence, with dramatic shades of red, brown and black.
In the living room a willow pattern wallpaper complements the oatmeal sofas and curtains with striped panels of red, taupe and oatmeal, while the red gloss breakfasting kitchen adds the “wow” factor.
The top-floor master bedroom, with walk-in wardrobe and en suite, features broad striped cream wallpaper with black gloss furniture and black gloss framed doors with silver mirrors.
Striking taupe and flame red floral wallpaper is used in Bedroom 2 while Bedroom 3 has a silver and flame red geometric design wallpaper and silver gilt furniture.
By contrast, the Woodcote’s interior mixes cool shades of white, cream and pale gold.
The spacious open-plan living room features a white and cream flock damask wallpaper with white leather sofas, latte soft furnishings and accessories, and this theme is carried through into the high-gloss latte breakfasting kitchen.
The top-floor master bedroom teams elegant wenge and bronze mirrored wardrobes with brown and cream wallpaper.
On the first floor, two double bedrooms are decorated in shades of cream and gold while a third single room is perfect for youngsters with fairground wallpaper in gold and honey.
Fenton Hewitt, Sales Director at Barratt North East, said: “These are two of our most popular townhouses, ideal for modern family living, and represent excellent value for money.
“The showhomes offer a great opportunity for visitors to come along and see for themselves the style and quality of the homes at Teal Park Farm.
“We’re building a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes here, including designs from our new Contemporary Range which are making their debut in the North East.
“The development is well-located with amenities on the doorstep and is already generating lots of interest.”
Prices range from £137,000 to £251,495. Move-up buyers could take advantage of the famous Barratt 7-day part exchange service, while first-time buyers could benefit from helpful purchase packages.
The showhomes and sales centre at Teal Park Farm, on Barmston Road, Washington, are open from 10.00am to 5.00pm, Thursday to Monday.
