Cater Allen launches Prestige Bank Account

Cater Allen Private Bank, part of the Santander Group, has launched a new Prestige Bank Account, designed to appeal to individuals who have at least £25,000 to deposit with Cater Allen.

The Prestige Bank Account offers the exemplary levels of service that clients would expect to receive from Cater Allen, including access to a UK based client team available seven days a week from 7am to 11pm. Clients can access their account by telephone, post or online.  The account offers tiered interest rates, unlimited transactions and all the facilities one would expect from a prestigious current account.

Clients who take out the new Prestige Bank Account will also be automatically eligible to apply for an American Express Preferred Rewards Gold Card on special terms. Membership for the exclusive charge card normally costs £95 per year, however for holders of the new Cater Allen Prestige Bank Account, the membership is complimentary for the first year and will continue to be fee-free thereafter as long as the customer maintains a balance with Cater Allen above £25,000 and spends at least £6,000 on the card in each subsequent year. 

Membership of the American Express Preferred Rewards Gold Card entitles clients to a range of benefits, including access to the American Express Membership Rewards programme, travel benefits including travel inconvenience and travel accident benefits, preferred access to selected events and a selection of offers from the world's top brands. As a charge card, it should be paid off in full at the end of each month so has no interest charges and no pre-set spending limit.
