Offering fantastic value for money, a great range of home moving incentives and a truly unrivalled location, the Valley Heights development off Adderwell Road in Frome has continually proved a hit with many buyers across the region however, interest looks set to increase further, so says Persimmon Homes.

In demonstrating its ongoing commitment in helping young buyers in the area take that all important first step on the property ladder, Persimmon Homes is preparing to host a dedicated ‘first time buyer’ event on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th September.

Not only will buyers be able to reserve a brand new home for just £99, but financial advisers will be on hand to offer advice on the home buying process, including talking about Persimmon’s successful Helping Hand shared equity incentive whereby purchasers pay just 85 per cent of the value with the remaining percentage not payable for ten years or until the home is re-sold - whichever comes first, with no interest to pay on the outstanding balance.

What’s more, all visitors at the event will be invited to enter into a prize draw to be in with a chance of winning four tickets to see Muse in concert at Wembley on 10th September.

Pauline Fletcher, Persimmon’s regional sales director, said: “We understand that buying a home can be a daunting experience which is why we thought it would be a good idea to host a dedicated first time buyer event.

“House hunters may assume that they would have to pay a premium to live at such a stunning address, however, there is a secret as to how you can move into your first home at Valley Heights and it’s as simple as attending the event and taking advantage of the Helping Hand scheme. With a whole host of experts on hand, plus a great range of home moving incentives available during the weekend, the event is sure to come as a lifeline to the region’s young house hunters.”

Persimmon’s Helping Hand scheme is ideal for those on lower incomes and for the growing number of people wanting to buy on their own as it means they are able to buy a home without having the cost of the whole mortgage, with no fees or monthly rental to pay on the remaining percentage. This incentive makes a real difference to purchasers as it allows them to take out a mortgage which they feel comfortable with to pay for the initial 85 per cent and hold off paying for the remaining 15 per cent for a few years until they feel more financially secure.

With Helping Hand, homes at Valley Heights are currently priced from just £97,746.

Valley Heights is situated in historic Frome, a town of enormous charm with its steep winding streets and wealth of beautiful buildings. There's excellent shopping on offer in the town with its numerous high street chains, whilst the Catherine Hill area is renowned for its specialist shops.

Perfect for families with children, a fine selection of schools at all levels in both the state and independent sector are close by. And, located just off the A361, the development is ideal for commuters, with Trowbridge, Westbury and Warminster nearby and the M4 within easy reach.
