Miller Homes East Midlands has announced that it has started building the second phase of its highly-popular Dukes Mead development in Bingham.

The award-winning housebuilder first opened Dukes Mead in 2007 with a range of properties across the 47 plots. Since then, it has proved to be extremely popular with young families and working couples keen to move into a quality new home.

Dukes Mead is an ideal location that offers the opportunity to live close to a bustling town centre while being within easy commuter distance of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester.

Now, in response to growing demand, Miller Homes East Midlands has started building the new phase that will feature 18 three, four and five-bedroom homes. The properties will range in price, starting from £209,950.

The first of the properties will be available to move into in October, while the phase is due to be completed by the end of the year.

Joy Goodman, sales director at Miller Homes East Midlands, commented: “Now is the right time for us to develop even more opportunities for people to make their home at Dukes Mead.

“Not only will there be a range of properties available, but Dukes Mead also benefits from being part of our popular Movemaker+ initiative, making it even easier to buy what could well end up being a home for life.”

Movemaker+ is a new and improved version of the original Movemaker scheme, with a host of additional benefits to offer prospective homebuyers a helping hand to move into the property of their dreams. These include the payment of stamp duty, survey fees, packaging and removal costs, and the possibility of part exchange if the buyer’s present property is not sold within six to eight weeks.

In addition, all of the original benefits of Movemaker are available, including two free valuations, the appointment of two local Estate Agents and an extensive advertising campaign, with all of the agent’s fees and advertising costs covered by Miller Homes.

Joy added: “Movemaker+ aims to take away some of the pressure and make the process more straightforward and problem-free, ensuring that the buyer is secure in the knowledge that their journey to owning a new home will be a smooth one.”
