Taylor Wimpey Manchester is bracing itself for a surge of interest at Tudor Grange in Overpool after unveiling a new shared equity scheme on a limited number of three bedroom homes at the development, with prices starting at £110,995 and all you need is a deposit of £6,500.

You can own 100 per cent of your home for only 85 per cent of the price with the Easystart scheme, which is aimed at helping buyers who are finding it difficult to raise larger deposits and make those all important first steps onto the property ladder. Taylor Wimpey will also pay all legal fees, provide luxury flooring throughout the house plus, due to the reduced price, there is no stamp duty to pay.

The Henbury home is available with shared equity. Spread over three floors, the Henbury housetype feature a contemporary fitted kitchen with stainless steel oven, hob and extractor, an open plan living and dining area with French doors leading to a private garden and cloakroom. The first floor has a family bathroom, three bedrooms and an en-suite shower room to the master bedroom. The home also has two allocated parking spaces and a private garden.

Anthony Mansfield, Taylor Wimpey Manchester sales and marketing director, commented: “The Easystart scheme is an excellent opportunity for first time buyers to get a foot on the property ladder and is particularly attractive to buyers who are finding it difficult to raise larger deposits.

Another scheme available at Tudor Grange is Recommend a Friend, whereby if a buyer recommends another person who goes on to buy a home at Tudor Grange, both parties are rewarded with £500 from Taylor Wimpey, on completion.
