Moving made easy for Burton first timers

Housebuilder Morris has launched a new ‘moving in’ scheme to give home buyers in Burton-Upon-Trent everything from the wardrobes to wine glasses.

In addition to the Government’s popular HomeBuy Direct scheme, which is available until September, Morris is offering an exclusive furniture package at the Paget Green development, off Dallow Street.

The package, available on selected properties, includes carpets, curtains, a washer dryer and a fridge freezer, as well as a comprehensive range of furniture, cutlery, crockery, bedding, lamp-shades and a 32” LCD TV with DVD player.

Cindy Vials, regional sales director for Morris, said: “The HomeBuy Direct scheme is proving really popular with first time buyers wanting to get on the property ladder.

The HomeBuy Direct scheme is available on a variety of properties at the development and enables qualifying first time buyers to purchase a new home with a mortgage for just 70 per cent of its value and without needing a large deposit.

Morris currently has a range of 3 bedroom properties available at Paget Green starting from just £111,825**.
