Barratt supports Macmillan cancer charity

Barratt North East is putting the kettle on for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
The housebuilder is inviting residents and visitors to coffee mornings at four developments on Friday 24 September, where they can enjoy coffee, tea and cakes in return for a donation to the charity.
“We thought this would be a good way for people to meet and get to know each other better and raise some money for a good cause,” said sales manager Lyndsey Clavery.
“It’s also an opportunity for visitors to take a look around our showhomes and see for themselves the style and quality of the new homes we’re building. Everyone’s welcome!”
The coffee mornings are being held from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Fellview, Consett; Horton Park, Blyth; Riverside Crescent, Blaydon; and The Sidings, Blackhall Rocks.
The first national World’s Biggest Coffee Morning was in 1991, when 2,600 people registered to hold coffee mornings across the country. Since then it has raised over £60 million in total for Macmillan Cancer Support.
