Leicester home buyers lap up luxurious new properties

21st September 2010 Print

Demand for large and luxurious homes in the popular Leicester suburb of Humberstone is growing with new Crest Nicholson properties selling fast.

Hot on the heels of the sell-out success of Albermarle Park, Crest launched The Pines in May. The exclusive gated development offers a choice of beautiful three, four and five-bedroom homes that are proving popular.

Amanda Benjamin, area sales manager for Crest Nicholson, commented: “We knew from the success of Albermarle Park and other developments in the Leicester area that there was a demand for new homes, but the sales rate has exceeded our expectations. We’ve already sold more than half of the properties at The Pines and have potential purchasers interested in the remaining plots.”

All of the three and four-bedroom homes – including the Malvern show home – have been sold.

The remaining properties are all five-bedroom Brockwell style homes, designed over three floors.

“The new Brockwell show home opened at the end of July and almost immediately we sold three properties of the same design,” Amanda said.

“The Brockwell is a prime example of how three storey town houses, which were popular in the Victorian era, are perfectly suited to modern family living.”

With an ample lounge there’s plenty of space for families to relax together and with the dining room opening out onto the garden, meals can easily be given an alfresco feel without even having to venture outside.

Upstairs, not only does the master bedroom benefit from an en-suite, but bedroom two tucked away on the second floor also enjoys this sense of luxury.

Set in leafy surroundings with mature trees, The Pines offers its residents a relaxing environment just a short journey away from Leicester city centre. And with a range of schools nearby, it’s the perfect place to put down roots and raise a family.

“Buying a new home is one of the most important decisions we make, and making sure that our customers are well looked after is a real priority for us. With just seven plots still available at The Pines, I would urge anyone considering moving to a new home in Humberstone to visit the sales office without delay,” Amanda commented.
