Bloor Homes have flung open the doors their new show home in Frome and in conjunction with South West Homes, Bloor is offering a Government funded scheme called HomeBuy Direct.

The Trinity Park launch weekend was extremely popular with over 100 visitors queuing to see the high specification homes. South West Homes were on hand to offer advice and support on the popular HomeBuy Direct scheme.

Graham Phillips, HomeBuy Manager for South West Homes said “we were busy all day with customers finding out if they can qualify to receive help to purchase their first home”. He added “with only 14 homes available on this development our customers wanted to be first in line”.

HomeBuy Direct, the Government’s shared equity scheme, is designed to help first time buyers and those in need of a more affordable way to buy their own new build home. People qualifying for HomeBuy Direct can pay a little as 70% of their new home now and get an equity loan, co-funded by the Government and Bloor Homes, for the remaining 30%. Any household earning £60,000 or less, first time buyers and those not able to afford to buy a suitable property on the open market, are eligible for the scheme.
