David Wilson Homes is reaching out to people who’ve struggled to get on the property ladder with a series of Meet the Experts events across its sites in West Sussex.

They start at Kings Acres in Littlehampton on Saturday October 2 with a focus on the housebuilder’s shared equity scheme Head Start where you can purchase a home for just 85 per cent of the asking price.

The event from 2pm offers the chance for aspiring David Wilson homes owners to come and speak to specialist mortgage advisors, solicitors and the David Wilson sales team to find out how Head Start can get them onto the property ladder.

David Wilson Homes sales director Mark Docherty said: “Securing a home is one of the most difficult challenges facing buyers today. Head Start provides the perfect platform for buyers to land their dream David Wilson home and make the buying process as smooth as possible.

Head Start is a shared equity scheme designed to help buyers take their first step in to the property market. Buyers can purchase a home at the exciting new development for just 85 per cent of the asking price. The remaining 15 per cent is funded through a deferred Barratt loan. And buyers don’t have to pay this until the home is sold again or in ten years, whichever is sooner. A five per cent deposit is required.

Kings Acres is currently offering two bedroom apartments which start at £160,000 for just £136,000.

Ideally placed for enjoying all the south coast has to offer, Littlehampton offers Blue Flag beaches, a bustling night life and opportunities for countryside strolls across the South Downs.

Kings Acres itself is located within the seaside town – close to the Harbour and a variety of local amenities.

The A259 provides easy access to the neighbouring seaside towns of Bognor Regis, Worthing and Brighton, while the A27 offers a quick link to the cathedral city of Chichester, with its fine Georgian and medieval architecture.

For further information, please visit or call the Kings Acres sales office, open from 10am to 5pm daily.
