The outstanding balance can be repaid at any time over the 10 years when the purchaser has more funds available or when they come to resell.

The ‘easi:buy’ payment is subject to terms and conditions and the deferred element is paid back at market value at the time of payment, which could go down as well as up.

“Easi:buy customers may find that their mortgage repayments are lower than the rent for a similar sized property and unlike renting they will actually have something to show for their money,” Elaine added.

“But as ‘easi:buy’ is available on selected properties for a limited time only, I would urge anyone thinking of moving to a brand new home to visit Water’s Edge right away. .
