People looking for a brand new home in Hartford, Cheshire, can now see, touch and really experience what’s available with the opening of a fully furnished show home at Hollies Farm.

Research by award-winning housebuilder Redrow found that those looking to buy a new home billed show homes as ‘very important’ or even ‘essential’, with some customers saying they were unable to picture a house without one.

So the opening of a show home at the new Hollies Farm venture in Hartford during the weekend of October 9 and 10 should be a very welcome event.

And on the Sunday visitors to the show home will be treated to a champagne and canapé reception.

Elaine Mounsey, sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “While some people have the confidence to buy ‘off plan’, others says they can’t visualise the layout without viewing a show home and see it as essential to establish the quality and finish of the properties.

“Customers like to imagine themselves living in a show home and many choose to replicate the look that our teams of professional interior designers have created.”

The intimate development will offer a blend of four and five-bedroom detached executive homes, plus half-a-dozen two-bedroom apartments.

Based on Redrow’s New Heritage Collection, but adapted to suit the local vernacular following consultation with Vale Royal planners, the homes at Hollies Farm will combine the best of old and new.

Externally, they will reflect the architecture of the Arts and Crafts movement of the late 19th century that’s also characterised in later periods, especially the 1920s and 1930s, but inside they will be thoroughly modern.

Redrow’s team of professional interior designers have dressed and decorated a four-bedroom ‘Balmoral’ at Hollies Farm to showcase all that the properties have to offer.

It boasts a convivial open-plan layout and family friendly features.

“The kitchen-diner of the ‘Balmoral’ is a great space for entertaining. Double doors lead from the dining area through to the living room, giving the property a real sense of flow. At the front of the house there’s an additional reception room which could be utilised as family room or study,” Elaine commented.

“Upstairs, the master bedroom and the second bedroom enjoy the luxury of an en-suite.”

The site, off Woodham Close, is currently bordered by open fields on one side yet is within walking distance of the shops and services of Hartford town centre.

Hollies Farm is set to launch during the weekend of October 9 and 10, when the doors to the ‘Balmoral’ show home will be thrown open, but would-be home owners can register their interest now by visiting: redrow.co.uk
