In response to huge demand that is being seen for flights to and from Spain and the Spanish Islands, award-winning low fares airline Monarch has added additional flights to Alicante, Malaga and Tenerife this October half term.

On 22 and 29 October 2010 Monarch will be operating additional flights between Luton and Alicante and Tenerife, with an extra flight between Manchester and Malaga operating on 28 October 2010. These additional flights will add an extra 2,000 seats in to the market during this key travel period and will enable Monarch customers to take full advantage of getting away this October half term.

The new flights are available to book now via monarch.co.uk with fares starting from just £31.99 one way including taxes and charges.

Commenting on the additional flights this October half term, Managing Director of Monarch Airlines, Tim Jeans said, “We have seen huge demand for flights to Spain and the Canary Islands this summer, with record breaking passenger and load factors recorded over the past few months. This demand has continued in to October and these additional services are in direct response to this. Our customers continue to choose our low fares and high quality service and these additional seats provide an even greater choice of low fare flights for those that haven’t yet booked their October get-away.”
