Richard picks up a long service award from Peveril Homes

1985 was the year that EastEnders first hit UK TV screens, Boris Becker became the youngest ever Wimbledon Men's Singles champion and Wayne Rooney was born but most notably, it was 25-years ago that one employee joined Peveril Homes.

Richard Fleckney is the Contracts Manager and has recently received his 25 years service award. He started at the company as a Site Manager and then progressed to his current position 10 years ago. Ralph Jones, Managing Director of Peveril Homes presented him with the award.

Peveril Homes is one of the Midlands’ leading house builders, with a reputation for achieving a consistently high quality of build in traditional homes, combining new design and technology to develop quality housing that meets the demands of 21st century living.

Richard comments on the accolade: “I started working for Peveril Homes when I was 27 and the time has flown. I’ve got some great colleagues and most of the team has been here a long time which means a lot in today’s current employment market.”

Based in Derbyshire, Peveril Homes develops around 150 – 200 homes a year on various sites throughout the Midlands including Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire.
