Top ten housebuilder, Galliford Try Homes, was named as ‘Best Large Housebuilder of the Year 2010’ at the glittering Housebuilder Awards ceremony last week.

The company is also leading the way in sustainable housebuilding with one of the UK’s first zero carbon developments Graylingwell in Chichester, a joint venture project between Linden Homes South East, Affinity Sutton and the Homes and Communities Agency, also winning best the ‘Zero Carbon Initiative’ award at the Housebuilder Awards.

Ian Baker, Group Managing Director for Housebuilding at Galliford Try Homes, comments:

“This win is a real testament to our teams across the country - well done to all. It has been another challenging year for developers yet we have remained innovative and creative. We look forward to continuing to push the boundaries and excel in new and innovative ways in 2011 and beyond.”
