Shelter brings Santa into your home this Christmas
This Christmas Shelter is offering parents the perfect gift for their children, a personalised festive video message from Father Christmas.
Back by popular demand following its huge success last year, SantaCam will not only put a huge smile on your child's face it's also a great way to make a difference to the thousands of families facing homelessness this Christmas.
Mums, dads and grandparents alike can log onto santacam.org.uk where they are just a few quick and easy questions away from creating a merry Christmas video message for the kids. Parents can watch as Santa greets children by name and talks about what they might find in their stocking on Christmas morning.
Santa then runs each child through his ‘behave-ometer' to check if they have been naughty or nice before sending them a final Christmas message live from his living room in Lapland.
All the charity asks in return is a donation to help raise money for their vital work helping thousands of people struggling to keep a roof over their head this Christmas.
Louise Parkes, director of fundraising at Shelter, said: ‘We're thrilled that Santa is giving up so much of his time to help Shelter this Christmas and we urge all parents and grandparents to give SantaCam a try.
"SantaCam is an easy way to bring some festive joy to your children, while helping the thousands of families currently going through the trauma of losing their home. The reality is homelessness can happen to anyone. Just an unexpected spell of illness or suddenly losing your job can be all it takes to send people into a spiral of debt and homelessness.
"Shelter is available to advise anybody who feels things are starting to spiral out of control, but we need your support to ensure we reach everyone that needs help this Christmas. Help us help whoever's next and visit santacam.org.uk to make a difference today."
