Taylor Wimpey’s Deposit Match scheme gives first-time buyers a helping hand at The Springs, its popular development of new homes in Watford.

Taylor Wimpey is helping to open the door to home ownership for first-time buyers at The Springs, its sought-after development of property for sale in Watford.

Thanks to the leading housebuilder’s fantastic Deposit Match initiative, aspiring home-owners can now double their deposits up to 10% of the purchase price of selected one-bedroom flats in Watford, which have just gone on sale.

For example, a purchaser in search of apartments in Watford who can put down an amount up to £17,250 on the stylish Plot 18 ground-floor flat, priced at only £172,500, will receive the same amount again in the form of an interest-free, 10-year loan.

Tony Woodman, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “The delightful one-bedroom Watford flats, which have just been released for sale at The Springs, are an amazing opportunity for first-time buyers to take their first step onto the property ladder.

“Our prices already represent great value for money, and with our Deposit Match scheme, those who might otherwise need to save for years can realise their dream of home ownership with one of our stunning new flats for sale in Watford much sooner than they may have thought.

“Deposit Match gives purchasers in search of property in Watford access to a wider range of attractive mortgage deals, more competitive interest rates and lower monthly payments.

“But with this scheme available only on selected homes at The Springs, would-be buyers are advised to be quick if they want to take advantage.”

The leading housebuilder’s 129 new homes, off Lower High Street, will comprise a range of stylish one and two-bedroom apartments and spacious three and four-bedroom houses, offering a comfortable, contemporary lifestyle for a wide range of homebuyers.

The Plot 18 ground floor flat features an open-plan kitchen and spacious living/dining area opening through French doors to an attractive patio area. A good-sized bedroom, a main bathroom, and handy storage closets located off the entrance hallway complete the well-proportioned accommodation.

Alternatively, two-bedroom apartments are priced from £195,000, while selected properties boast balconies to living areas, en-suite bathrooms to master bedrooms and allocated parking spaces.

Watford is an exceptionally popular town with easy access to the M25 and M1, and Watford High Street railway station, just a short walk from The Springs, offers regular services into central London in around 40 minutes.

The town centre nearby boasts a wide range of high street and independent shops, the modern Harlequin Centre with more than 100 big-name stores including John Lewis, Marks & Spencer and Next, plus a wealth of bars, restaurants, entertainment and leisure facilities including a theatre.

There are many schools within close proximity providing education for children of all ages.

For relaxation, Cassiobury Park offers 190 acres of green space, children’s attractions and a wide variety of sports facilities.

To find out more about owning a first home at The Springs, the new Sales Information Centre and show apartment, located off Lower High Street, Watford, WD17 2FG, is open seven days a week, Tuesday to Sunday 10am to 5.30pm and Mondays from 10am to 2pm.
