Award-winning Stamford Homes is to build on its existing success in and around Hull, with the approval of plans for more than 100 new energy efficient homes in Beverley.

Work on the exciting Flemingate development – located close to the city centre – could begin as early as the New Year, with the opportunity to buy a new home from plan soon after.

Flemingate will be made up of a selection of two, three and four-bedroom homes built in varying styles to appeal to everyone from first time buyers, families, couples or single people.

The 130-home development will be built on a previously developed brownfield site off Flemingate, Priory Road and St Nicholas Road and is part of a wide-reaching redevelopment of the surrounding area.

As well as new homes, the vision for Flemingate includes a hotel, shops, offices, a cinema, leisure facilities, a new campus for East Ridings College, open space and other landscaping, car parking and pedestrian access.

Stamford Homes sales director Steve Woomble said: “We are really excited about this development which located right in the heart of the town and the prospect of our new homes being part of such an imaginative and far-reaching project for the area.

“Our development will boast some fabulously designed homes, perfect for energy conscious customers looking for a modern, contemporary place to live.”
