Ali Gayward, UK commercial manager at easyJet comments: “Following our recent launch of three new business routes from Manchester the new service to Palma caters for the region’s leisure travellers and brings our total number of destinations accessible from Manchester to 23.

“Palma, with its great weather and picturesque harbours, is ideal for those people seeking a new summer holiday destination or a cultural city break.”

Andrew Harrison, Manchester Airport’s Managing Director, said: “Since it first started operating from Manchester in 2007, easyJet has gone from strength to strength. To have grown to 23 services in those three years shows its commitment to Manchester and the wider North West and we look forward to working together to make the route a success.”

easyJet has also started operating its new daily, direct service from Manchester to Hamburg which offers one-way flights to Germany’s second city for as little as £27.99 (including taxes).

easyJet passengers travelling from Manchester are now set to benefit from the airline’s new partnership with Holiday Extras and the Manchester Airport Group which enables easyJet customers to book their parking at the airport for as little as £3 per day.
