We have strong traditional links with Scotland and we look forward to welcoming thousands of Scottish visitors on the new service. We also look forward to it contributing to the development of business links between the two regions.”

Mr Rutter adds: “Despite the economic challenges of the past 12 months, Flybe has continued to expand its route network and we remain committed to providing the widest range of convenient and affordable regional services for our passengers. With flights available for booking now, we’d urge people to book early so they don’t miss out on the lowest fares possible.”
