Toyota named Best Car Manufacturer at inaugural Which? Awards Toyota has been named Best Car Manufacturer at the 2007 Which? Awards, the leading consumer magazine’s inaugural awards honouring the best products and services in the UK.

Toyota beat runners-up BMW, Audi, Honda, Lexus and Mazda for the award.

Which? Awards judges said: “Toyota deserves to win this award thanks to a combination of its innovative thinking and excellent value for money.

“You can’t go wrong when buying a Toyota. Its models usually do everything well and always score highly in every area of our tests, as well as in our annual car owner’s survey.”

Jon Williams, Toyota (GB) Commercial Director, said: “We are delighted to have received this award from Which?, an organisation that has for so many years worked to the highest standards to serve the interests of the consumer.

“Toyota, too, understands the importance of responding to the needs and concerns of motorists, by continuing to develop and market technologies and vehicles that are safer, kinder to the environment and that offer excellent quality, driving pleasure and value.”
