Simon Lowe says he’s ‘useless’ at DIY, but that doesn’t matter anymore as he’s now the proud owner of a beautiful brand new home in Swadlincote.

“I had been in my old four-bedroom house for about 16 years and wanted a change. I had been living on my own but was looking for somewhere bigger to live with my partner Sophia Howell,” Simon explained.

“I prefer the concept of homes set out over three floors, but there weren’t many available in this part of Derbyshire. When we visited Priory Fields and saw the five-bedroom ‘Rickford’ show home we knew we had found the perfect house for us as there’s lots of space and it includes a study.”

They liked the show home so much that they decided to buy it.

“We’ve kept the décor because I’m useless at DIY. There would be no curtains or light fittings in the house if it had been left to me. Instead it’s been professionally done,” Simon, sales director with PAL Group, added.
