Ruth Langsford discusses quality time with the kids

Mounting pressure on British mums to juggle work life and family responsibilities has left them more time-poor than ever. Four out of five (88%) admit to feeling like they are in a constant state of motion with no time to relax.
According to a study of 1250 mums by laundry detergent Bold with a touch of Lenor, nearly half (44%) feel that the recession has actually increased their feeling of being time poor, with either their partners now working more hours meaning they are doing more at home and with the kids (33%) or working more hours themselves to contribute to the family finances (11%).
This pressure has led to many mums finding it hard to take not only time for themselves but to allow for quality time to bond and reconnect with their partners. 86% said they were craving for more ‘we-time’ with their partners. When asked what they would do with the precious time they found to relax, over a third of mums (35%) cited ‘snuggling with their partner’ as their ideal indulgence before old ‘me-time’ favourites like taking a bath (20%) or reading their favourite book (23%). Is 'we-time' becoming the new 'me-time'?
With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, Bold with Lenor are offering British mums the chance to win an exclusive snuggle fest trip to Paris. Half of the mums surveyed (50%) said that they felt snuggling with their partners this Valentine’s Day was more important than being bought presents.
