Couples say 'I do' to dream homes in Overpool

It was a weekend to remember for Mark and Emma Reid and as they said ‘I do’ to each other – and their dream home.
The newly-weds got married on a Friday before buying their Taylor Wimpey house on Saturday and jetting off on honeymoon on Sunday.
And by the time they got back from their trip the paperwork was done and it was time to move in.
Clothes buyer Emma, 32, was so keen to secure the exclusive Tudor Grange property that she agreed to buy it before she’d even seen it.
Husband Mark, 29, a PE teacher fell in love with the house at an open viewing event and decided to snap it up before someone else did.
The couple were able to use Taylor Wimpey’s part exchange scheme to finance the purchase of the four bedroom, detached Buckingham home and move quickly.
As Emma says: “It was quite a weekend! By the time we went on honeymoon we were married and had a new house.
“Mark saw the house and loved it and that was good enough for me. We went away, leaving my Dad in charge of the paperwork, came back and moved in last week.”
And they aren’t the only newly-weds on the site. Next door neighbours, John and Mandy Cheesborough, have just tied the knot too.
The couple took advantage of Taylor Wimpey’s part exchange scheme to buy their £209,995, four bedroom, detached Canterbury home, and moved in on the same day as the Reids.
As John, 30, a pets’ store buyer, says: “The part exchange offer was a massive bonus for us – it made the whole process a lot easier than we ever imagined.
“Now we’ve just got to get used to living in such a big house.”
Anthony Mansfield, Taylor Wimpey Manchester sales and marketing director, said: “The part exchange scheme is an easy, stress-free way to move home. We take away the burden of having to pay estate agents’ fees and having to find a buyer for their home – as we’re their cash buyer!
“It lets us do the hard work for you and means that couples like the Reids and the Cheesboroughs can start their married life in a new home.”
Tudor Grange has a range of three and four bedroom homes available starting from £134,995. First time buyers will be pleased to hear that at Tudor Grange they only need a 5% deposit to purchase a home.
