Enjoy the cherry blossom season in Japan

'Sakura Zensen’ Japan

The start of ‘Sakura’ or cherry blossom season is a much anticipated event in Japan signifying as it does the arrival of warmer weather and springtime. Every year TV weather forecasts eagerly track the arrival of the ‘Sakura Zensen’, or cherry blossom front as it moves northwards across the country.

To let people enjoy this unique time of year, specialist operator Japan Journeys has put together a springtime adventure.

The itinerary takes in the former capitals of Kyoto and Nara, has a moving visit to Hiroshima and also includes a stay in the foothills of Mount Fuji and a trip on the Bullet Train.
