With a brand new collection of homes displaying statesman-like qualities, as each has been named after a former British prime minster, and to also celebrate the ‘great outdoors’ appeal of Baron’s Meadow as a location, Bellway Homes is hosting a ‘birds of prey’ weekend, 26 and 27 February, to officially launch the Wellington and Churchill showhomes.

Fraser Conn, Sales and Marketing Director at Bellway Homes, says: “The response to Baron’s Meadow has been extremely positive since we opened the development last autumn. Motherwell is a very active area with house hunters, given the great range of good local facilities, schools and transport links.

“The launch of the showhomes provides us with the opportunity to demonstrate to visitors why the development has been so well-received. We also want to highlight the semi-rural appeal of the location, given its proximity to Strathclyde Country Park and Dalzell Estate, which is why we have invited ‘World of Wings’ to come along and put on an outdoors display for visitors.”

Situated off Dalzell Drive in Motherwell, on the former site of Motherwell College, and close to a wealth of local woodlands and parks yet minutes from the town’s busy centre, Baron’s Meadow offers suburban living at its very best.

Award-winning housebuilder Bellway Homes has a considerable choice of homes that are making their debut in Scotland including beautifully presented three-bedroom semi-detached and detached homes, and elegant four and five-bedroom detached villa, such as the Asquith, Gladstone, Salisbury and Bannerman – all properties befitting names of such stature.

It is easy to understand why Bellway has chosen the Wellington and the Churchill as the showhomes. Both names are renowned as the leading UK political figures of the 19th and 20th century – however, now prospective buyers will be able to associate both names with beautifully presented 21st century homes.

Key features of the striking four-bedroom Wellington include the spacious, bay-windowed lounge and the Juliet balcony in the thoughtfully-planned second bedroom, providing a home that is perfect for any aspiring Duke needing room for his growing army of young children.

The five-bedroom Churchill is a home of majestic proportions at over 1,800 sq ft. From its the family room to its roomy dining kitchen, bay windowed second bedroom with en-suite and grand master-bedroom, with its en-suite and separate dressing area, this impressive home is ideal for those who want a family home that has the flexibility to cope with large gatherings.

‘World of Wings’ will be putting on a display, which will include falcons, owls, vultures and eagles, over both days of the launch weekend. Visitors will also have the opportunity to enter a prize draw, with the prize being a one-year family membership to World of Wings, which has the largest collection of birds of prey in Scotland.

Prices at Baron’s Meadow are currently released from £159,995. For further information on the launch weekend or to view the Wellington and Churchill showhomes, please contact the Baron’s Meadow sales centre, open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm.
