Specialist Cars Skoda opens in Dundee
Skoda has welcomed John Clark Motor Group’s latest dealership to its rapidly-growing retailer network and commends the group’s attitude towards customer service and commitment to the brand.
John Clark Motor Group has been trading for more than 30 years, specialising in the sale of new and used vehicles from its 14 businesses across the East coast of Scotland. This latest addition to the network is a smart move by the company that saw a gap in the market for Skoda’s award-winning cars and excellent aftersales and wanted to capitalise on the success of the manufacturer.
The former Peugeot dealership will shortly be refurbished to the latest Skoda corporate standards and incorporates an eight-car showroom, a five-bay workshop catering for cars and light commercial vehicles and a 35-vehicle used car display.

The group is projecting an annual turnover of £8 million for the new Dundee dealership, with anticipated sales of 400 new and used vehicles annually. The opening has created 14 new jobs immediately and the group expects this number will increase as the business develops.
The John Clark Motor Group is Scotland’s fourth largest motor trade group and within the top 30 in the UK. It has an annual turnover of £260 million and 637 employees.
