Homes are selling fast at Sefton Mill

New home sales in Sefton are on the up, so says a Lancaster-based housebuilder.

Diane England, sales director for Persimmon Homes Lancashire has announced a flurry of property sales at its Sefton Mill development – currently averaging one per week.

There are seven bespoke ranges of property for sale at the Sefton Mill Lane development and Diane believes the elaborate designs have struck a chord with buyers in the region. She comments: “Despite the ongoing challenges in the business environment, there are people visiting our showhomes and marketing suites who genuinely want to buy, evident in the number of properties we have sold over the past few weeks.

“There definitely seems to be an air of optimism locally; the interest rate is just 0.5 per cent and house prices are at an all time competitive low, which have tempted people to make the move now, before they inevitably increase.”

Homes at the development, which are available with Persimmon’s Part Exchange scheme, are currently priced from £208,995.

Located in the northern area of Liverpool, Sefton Mill, which includes a mix of two, three and four bedroom homes, provides easy access to a wide range of local amenities that personify peaceful historic village life such as shopping facilities, a rural pub and local church.

The development is ideally placed for commuters; it’s within minutes of the rail network and the M62, M57 and M58 are all close by. John Lennon airport can be reached in around 40 minutes which operates both national and international flights on a daily basis.
