St George's Day Festival at Wrest Park

An action-packed three day St George's Day celebration – with historical thrills, spills and plenty of flag waving at England’s largest and longest running celebratory event.

Supporters can wave the flag for their favourite as they cheer for St George, resplendent in shining armour and astride his noble steed or the feisty fire-breathing dragon, in their display of courage and patriotism. Throughout each day a kaleidoscope of thrilling period entertainment will be on offer in time zones from Roman times to World War II, providing a fascinating journey through England’s rich history. Visitors can also wander a colourful living history encampment and authentic historic market.

Wrest Park, Bedfordshire, MK45 4HS - ¾ mile east of Silsoe off the A6, 10 miles south of Bedford. Train: Flitwick (4 miles)
