Cobra Suspension launches VW T5 coilover kit

Cobra Springs, the respected Dutch suspension manufacturer, has launched a bespoke coilover kit for the Volkswagen T5 Transporter range.

The precision-manufactured components offer an incredible range of ride heights of anywhere between -40mm and -70mm, endowing the T5 with a killer stance as well as massively improving the handling and point-to-point performance of the capable carry-all.

The coilover units are works of art, featuring stainless steel bodies and springs from Cobra’s competition range. The adjustable platforms allow for adjustment on the vehicles, without having to remove the units. Both compression and rebound adjustment are available, meaning that the damping characteristics of the units can be set to suit driving style or conditions, or even additional weight in the T5. They have been designed as a direct bolt-in replacement to the OEM struts and thanks to carefully configured spring and damping rates, offer a surprisingly supple ride for everyday use.
