Combining the best of old and new, Redrow’s New Heritage Collection is proving popular with discerning homebuyers in Cheshire.

Hollies Farm in Hartford is an intimate development of properties that look traditional on the outside but are bright and modern inside.

Elaine Mounsey, sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), explained: “Inspired by the architecture of the Arts and Crafts movement, the New Heritage Collection is already a premium housing product, but at Hollies Farm we’ve really raised the bar. These large and luxurious homes boast the charm and character of ‘period’ properties but with a superior specification that’s streets ahead of our peers and unrivalled among most of the second hand sector.”

Granite work surfaces are standard in the kitchens and most of the properties will feature American-style fridge freezers; while sleek modern bathrooms enjoy quality fixtures and fittings that are pleasing to the eye. Many of the homes boast not one but two en-suites, with some master bedrooms also enjoying the luxury of a dressing room.

“Visitors to Hollies Farm have been bowled over by the ‘Balmoral’ show home and, considering how spacious it is, are surprised to discover that it’s actually the smallest of the properties available. Our sales are fast heading towards double figures and the first residents have now moved in. We are continuing to attract strong interest from potential purchasers and are working with a number of people who are keen to buy one of these premium quality homes,” Elaine commented.

“Because we appreciate that people buying at this level often have an existing property to sell, we’re offering to help with our Mastermove service. We enlist the help of a local estate agent to sell a customer’s old home, monitor the agent’s activities and progress and even pay their fees at the end of the day.”

Current availability at Hollies Farm includes a choice of four and five-bedroom properties, with prices from £410,000.

The impressive five-bedroom ‘Cheltenham’ enjoys a convivial open plan layout that puts the kitchen at the heart of the home.

“The combined kitchen, dining area and family room of the ‘Cheltenham’ is much more than somewhere to cook and eat; it’s an inviting space for families to gather and spend real quality time together. The separate dining room is perfect for dinner parties; while the lounge offers a relaxing space that’s great for entertaining in,” Elaine explained.

On the first floor there’s a dedicated study, master bedroom with the glamour of an en-suite and a dressing room, plus bedrooms four and five which share a ‘Jack and Jill’ bathroom. Utilising ‘rooms in the roof’ to create a whole extra floor of living space, the family bathroom and bedrooms two and three of the ‘Cheltenham’ can be found on the second floor.

With five primaries and three secondary schools close by, Hollies Farm is a great place to put down roots and raise a family.

Strong transport links mean that Chester, Liverpool and Manchester are all within commuting distance; while Hollies Farm is still a world away from the hustle and bustle of city living.

Potential purchasers can picture themselves living at Hollies Farm with a visit to the show home in Douglas Close, open Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5.30pm.
