Traditional on the outside with high quality modern interiors, new Redrow homes in Swadlincote, South Derbyshire, have plenty to offer discerning house hunters.

Priory Fields in Church Gresley includes a choice of family homes with two, three and four bedrooms.

Inspired by the architecture of the Arts and Crafts movement, the homes boast the charm and character of older ‘period’ properties but without the need for expensive repairs and renovations, as inside they are full of family friendly features designed to meet the demands of 21st century lifestyles.

“Visitors to Priory Fields have been pleasantly surprised at what’s included as standard in our New Heritage Collection homes as we offer a specification that’s unrivalled among most of our house building peers, let alone the second hand sector,” Pauline Turnbull, sales director for Redrow Homes (Midlands), commented.

“Kitchens are fitted with top brand name integrated appliances, including ovens, microwaves and fridge-freezers, plus under unit lighting; while the floor to ceiling cabinets and extra wide drawers offer plenty of storage. The Redrow standard specification also includes fitted wardrobes, built-in book shelves and outside lights. And in the bathrooms you’ll discover quality fixtures and fittings, with an exclusive tile range.”

Prices start from just £119,995 for a two-bedroom ‘Evesham’ style property, with three-bedroom designs from £139,995 and four-bedroom homes from £174,995.

Redrow has calculated that it could cost up to £30,000 to bring an older three-bedroom property up to the same high standard as one of its new homes.

“Buying a second hand property and renovating it yourself may sound appealing, but there’s lots of hard work and expense involved with little, if any, return for the time and money you invest. With a brand new Redrow home you won’t have to worry about inheriting someone else’s decor or DIY disasters, but will enjoy the peace of mind of a 10-year ‘Buildmark’ warranty. Kitchen appliances are also brand new with two-year manufacturers’ warranties,” Pauline explained.

Those with an existing home to sell may find that Redrow is willing to take it off their hands as part-payment for a brand new one. With Redrow effectively acting as a cash buyer, they won’t have to worry about getting caught in a complicated chain and there are no agent’s fees to pay.

Redrow has produced an easy to follow video guide to part-exchange, which is available to view online at redrow.tv. The award-winning online television channel also includes virtual tours of show homes from across the country and real customers talking about their Redrow homes.

Located in Church Gresley, near Swadlincote, Priory Fields is close to the new National Forest with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the great outdoors. Despite its semi-rural location, the development enjoys easy access to the east Midlands motorway network.

Three show homes are open to view daily from 10am to 5.30pm, enabling potential purchasers to appreciate all that a brand new Redrow home has to offer.
