Success for Miller Homes’ ‘Recommend a Friend’ scheme
Carrie Plumpton is £1,000 better off thanks to the Miller Homes’ ‘Recommend a Friend’ initiative. Carrie bought a new 2 bedroom apartment, at the Urban Space development in Warrington, last September and hasn’t looked back.
As a first time buyer Carrie has nothing but praise for Miller Homes’ and now, having received a cheque for £1,000, is even happier. Carrie says: “This is the first time I have ever bought a house, as I have been renting until now, and I can’t believe how easy Miller Homes made it for me. The Sales Advisor, Stevie Perry, was fantastic. I was faced with this pile of paperwork and felt really quite daunted by it, but Stevie helped me with it all. He could not have been more helpful.”
Carrie came across the Miller Homes’ ‘Recommend a Friend’ initiative during a visit by one of her friends to her new apartment. Carrie explains: “My friend came round to see my new apartment while Stevie was working through some final paperwork so the two met by accident. My friend had been looking to move but didn’t consider a new home because he thought he wouldn’t be able to afford one. Having seen my lovely new home and following a short discussion with Stevie – he too was hooked. Stevie then explained that I could earn £1,000 if my friend went ahead and bought a new home. We couldn’t believe it!”
Carrie’s friend has now completed on his very own brand new home at Miller Homes’ Urban Space development, which is an ideal location for him, as it is close to work and to his friends. The ‘Recommend a Friend’ initiative is just one of many ways in which Miller Homes aims to encourage and support people onto the property ladder and to reward those that have already bought a Miller Homes property. In this current economic climate buyers should be encouraged that people like Carrie have managed to take that first step onto the property ladder.
Carrie concludes: “I still can’t quite believe that I own this gorgeous apartment. The scary thing is that my monthly mortgage payment is half what the rent was on my previous apartment. My new apartment is also in a fantastic location, much better than where I was before and it’s so handy for work. Things just couldn’t be better.”
