House hunters in Motherwell will soon be able to enjoy their first look inside Redrow’s New Heritage Collection homes.

The recently launched Silver Birch Park venture is the latest development in central Scotland to feature the critically acclaimed designs that combine the best of old and new.

Inspired by the architecture of the Arts and Crafts movement, the homes look traditional from the outside but are bright, modern and full of family friendly features inside. And with the doors set to open to two properties, potential purchasers will be able to picture themselves living in one of the beautiful brand new homes.

Mary McHutchison, sales manager for Redrow Homes (Scotland), commented: “Research with customer focus groups tells us that while some people have the confidence to buy ‘off plan’, others like to be able to view a show home with some saying it’s an essential part of the home buying process. With that in mind we’ll be opening ‘Crossford’ and ‘Skelmorlie’ style show homes in the spring.”

Dressed to impress by a team of professional interior both properties have four-bedrooms.

The ‘Crossford’ is a substantial family home with a combined kitchen, dining and family room that’s much more than somewhere to cook and eat; it’s a great place for families to gather and spend quality time together. Plus there’s a separate lounge for privacy or more formal entertaining.

Current availability at Silver Birch Park includes a choice of three and four-bedroom homes with prices from £160,000. A ‘Crossford’, similar to the show home, is on the market at £212,000.

“Savvy buyers understand that while an older, second hand property may come with a smaller price tag it may need lots of repairs and renovations. The cost of installing a new kitchen, appliances and bathrooms plus energy efficient heating, replacement windows and a whole host of other features soon adds up. In fact we’ve calculated that it could cost up to £30,000 to bring an older three-bedroom property up to the same high standard of one of our new homes,” Mary added.

“Our kitchens boast the convenience of integrated top brand name appliances with tall units and extra wide drawers that offer plenty of storage. If you were to install the same high quality fixtures, fittings and appliances yourself it would cost more than £6,000, plus you would have the inconvenience of not being able to use your kitchen while the work is carried out.

“With this in mind our homes at Silver Birch Park, offer the ideal solution for those who want an easy life. Our customers can enjoy the peace of mind knowing that their new home is covered by a 10-year Buildmark warranty; while the appliances are also covered by a two-year manufacturers’ warranty.”

Designed to maximise efficiency and minimise waste, properties at Silver Birch Park are well insulated, with central heating and double glazing included as standard.

Located in Vesuvius Drive, Silver Birch Park enjoys good road and rail links making it the ideal base for commuters working in Glasgow or Edinburgh.
