Doing something funny for money: Miller Homes workers

House builder Miller Homes has pledged to donate £1 for every visitor that takes a nosey around a show home at one of its developments in County Durham this week (Friday 11 – Sunday 20 March 2011) in aid of Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day.

Miller Homes, is aiming to raise money across its eight developments in the region including, Cobblers Hall in Newton Aycliffe, Heather Lea Green in Crook, The Meadows in Framwellgate Moor and The Pastures in Darlington.

Miller Homes North East sales director Steve McElroy said: “This year we are getting into the Red Nose Day spirit and are encouraging people looking for a new home in County Durham to come down to one of our developments this week wearing their own red nose in support of the charity, whilst looking around our impressive show homes. We will donate £1 for every person that walks through our doors.

Miller Homes also has a selection of incentives available including deposit match, Miller Homes’ exclusive part exchange scheme Miswap and its shared equity scheme Miway.

The Miway scheme enables buyers to pay for part of their home now (up to 75%) with the rest coming in the form of a low interest loan from Miller Homes.

At Cobblers Hall a range of stunning three, four and five bedroom homes start from £155,000. A 3-bedroom semi detached Gissing house type is now also available on Miller’s shared equity scheme Miway. Priced at £155,000 this home can be bought for only £116,250 now with Miway. Miswap is also available on selected plots.

At The Pastures the 3-bedroom semi detached Chartwell house type with detached single garage priced at £132,000 can be bought on Miller’s Miway scheme for only £99,000 now and Miswap is also available on selected plots.

At The Meadows the 3-bedroom Hardy townhouse has had a special £10,000 price drop. Originally priced at £221,000 this delightful home can now be bought for only £211,000 and is also available on Miway, which means it could be bought for only £158,250 now on the scheme.

Miller Homes Miswap scheme allows buyers to swap their current home for one of Miller’s selected plots, whether they are looking to upsize, downsize or swap like-for-like. No differentials required.

At Heather Lea Green, the 4-bedroom detached Fyne house type with integral single garage is available on Miswap. This homes has also had a special Red Nose Day reduction priced at £210,000 is now available at a discounted price of only £199,995.
