David Wilson Homes North West recently invited pupils from St John’s primary school in Liverpool to officially unveil its new Newsham showhome at its St John’s Place development.

The pupils, who have already named the development and designed its signage, were also joined by members of the North Liverpool Regeneration Company, Liverpool Housing Trust and Liverpool City Council to celebrate the launch.

Steve Jackson, sales director at David Wilson Homes North West, comments: “We are delighted to be opening our new showhome. Not only does it allow local homebuyers to see an example of our range of sustainable and affordable housing for themselves, but it also marks the next important step of the regeneration of City Centre North.”

Denise Maudsley, headteacher at St John’s Primary School, comments: “It was a real honour for the children to be invited to officially open the new showhome. We would like to thank David Wilson Homes for inviting us along and for enabling the children to get so involved in the regeneration of the community in which many of them live. We look forward to continuing to watch the development grow over the coming months.”

Generously spread over three floors, the Newsham offers a thoughtfully-designed three bedroom home that’s ideal for family living. The ground floor features a spacious lounge which is perfect for entertaining, and an open place kitchen/dining room, which boasts French doors leading out into the garden to create a bright and airy feel.

Meanwhile the top floor offers the large master bedroom, which includes a stylish en-suite, whilst the remaining bedrooms can be found on the first floor along with a family bathroom.

Steve Jackson continues: “At David Wilson Homes we are committed to providing quality homes which meet the needs of local homebuyers. We encourage everyone to come down and see for themselves how the City Centre North is really starting to develop.”

St John’s Place has been completed in partnership between Liverpool City Council, NewHeartlands, Liverpool Housing Trust and lead developer David Wilson Homes North West and is the second scheme to be developed in the City Centre North Zone of Liverpool’s HMR Pathfinder, following the success of Dorrington Gardens last year.
