Modern and low maintenance – Gav’s new coach house ticks all the right boxes

It's not everyone who has the courage or confidence to buy a new home off plan – but bricklayer Gav Kidals did just that, and bagged himself a trendy coach house in Grimsby.

Although he has spent all of his life in Grimsby, 28-year-old Gav is the newest resident at Stamford Homes’ popular Freshney Green development in the town.

Having picked his preferred home from plan, Gav was also able to choose his own kitchen units, sanitary ware and carpets, helping to transform his trendy two-bedroom coach house into a slick and stylish home.

“What attracted me to this style of home initially was the open plan layout – which meant there were no restrictions in terms of living space, allowing me to put my own stamp on it.

“Also, the fact that it is low maintenance, but with a garage, was very appealing,” said Gav – who moved to the development from a smaller home elsewhere in the town after saving the relevant deposit.

“I am still close to all the local amenities, my family and friends – which is perfect as I work for my dad,” added Gav, who is currently contracted as a bricklayer on a neighbouring Stamford Homes development at Market Rasen.

Freshney Green offers a fantastic range of two bedroom homes, similar to the coach house style, starting from £129,950 and which are ready to move into now.

Perfect for single purchasers, young professionals and first time buyers, the range of modern and stylish homes have wide appeal.

For more details of what is currently available at Freshney Green, call into the sales and marketing suite which is open daily from 10.30am until 5pm.
